A nosy friend indeed…

I was stuck at the federal highway this morning when I heard over the radio about a stalled car or was it an accident somewhere near IJN, Jln Tun Razak. Lucky for me, the crawl did not affect me much as I left the house a little bit late. What a way to jump-start my Monday. Oh, weekend was fun, full of good food and loads of beauty sleep.

One setback about my weekend was receiving a few text messages from a so called ‘friend’ whom I have not seen or met for many years. She has this habit or tendency to call or text me like once in a blue moon and her favourite text message would be “ So, are you still single? ‘ Why not married?” It is somehow like a standard text for her. My answer will be “Single until further notice?” and weirdly, she will not bother to reply after that. She does that all the time. It would not annoy me if she would sincerely ask how I was doing, or anything that shows she cares as a friend. Sometimes I ask myself what the hell is wrong with her? She must be nosy to just ask me that main question. But then again, I keep telling myself, may be she is just concerned over me. My conclusion of her would be - definitely a nosy friend who just loves to gossip. Hmmm, to think of it she used to be my housemate during uni years, if it was someone I hardly know, I would not bother.

I guess I will be busy this week running a few errands to ensure a smooth sailing trip to Singapore this weekend. Yeay!! My to do list includes buying the coach tickets, hotel booking and identifying places to target for shopping. I am pretty sure I won’t get to cover all shops, thus I need to narrow down the list. Any suggestions, people?? I’m sure many of you had a splendid time in Singapore for the shopping spree :D You gals or guys might have discovered a few things/info in Singapore that you might want to share with me?? Come on, spill the beans ………………..
