It was the second time for me voting this year, I was already queueing at the dewan ss3 at 9.30am. It was such a breeze I tell ya as I did not have to wait that long to place my vote. I guess SPR did a good job this time round for the 12th general election. The election results is already out and I have mixed feelings about the outcome. The hot topic for today and yesterday was definitely the election results...yada yada... I am done with the post election analysis, penat dah and all I am looking forward to is what the govt will do next to improve. What are the steps they are gonna take? Is it for the better? It is definitely a wake up call for those who have not been performing. And for the opposition..what is their next step?....I really hope they will keep their promises and do what is expected of them! I know it is not gonna be easy but lets wait and see eh......
On the same day of the election, I had to attend a wedding reception at Tabung Haji, KL....we had to rush from PJ to KL for the reception and after that to Ulu Langat as my dad is still registered at his home town. The number of people who turn up for the reception were pretty disappointing as I was sure many were not in KL for the election. There were many empty tables, the bride's mom told us that she booked the dewan many months ago even before the election date was confirmed. Nasib tak baik betul.
Nonetheless, the wedding couple looked happy together and the nasi minyak served by Tabung haji was damn good!! The bride is related to me via my dad, she is probably in her late 30's and the groom is a British mat salleh approximately 10 years older. They were introduced by a colleague in KL and eventually fell in love with each other, sparks and chemistry were everywhere and a year later they decided to settle down. Both are now residing in the UK.

Ohhh before I sign off, thought of sharing with you this song I am so hooked on to, Yovie and Nuno entitled Menjaga Hati, when I was in Indonesia, this song was top on the charts , am glad I managed to get their album while I was in Bandung. I couldnt find the album here in KL though.
Have a good week ahead folks!

am frustrated and worried with penang elections results...
shocking kan?? I didn't expect the results to deviate that much. Oh well, its a done deal already and lets see whether the opposition will stand by their promises and manifestos. On the other hand, it is def a wake up call for the govt to improve.
A wake up call for the people who thought the people are afraid of changes. The main thing is, whoever is in control...the rakyat welfare and rights should be the priority. The opposition will have 5 years to proof to do what they promise....if not, what is the difference?
Nice song....check out Kahitna and Element too.
