I was amazed when I saw the shoes below. The email I received claims that the shoes below are the latest in Japan. I wonder how true that is eh?. Anyway, I am not a person who would want to torture my feet just to look different and fashionable. In other words, I do not intend to be a victim of fashion. What is your pick?? You like the red or the black one??
My pick would still be none of the above. I will still go for comfy sandals or office shoes by Bata, Clarks, Scholl or Hush Puppies. Not too fancy :P Ohh I can't imagine myself getting stuck in the LRT train wearing the red heels above.
One of my picks would be this comfy sandals by Hush Puppies :)

Those shoes look really really uncomfortable. I'm not surprised if the Jap girls would wear them just for fashion sake. Anyways, the pair of leather sandals that I bought in Mangga 2 Jakarta still remains as my favorite pair for now i.e. I'd wear them almost all the time and even if it gets tercabut, I'd try to salvage by sending it for repair. Oh ya, I'd even consider going to the same shop in Jakarta to get the same pair if it goes bust hehe (saje je excuse nak pegi shopping).
i tgk kasut tu pun dah rasa sakit kaki
hmmm....those are not shoes Nour...those are stilts! You're right! Imagine getting yr heels stuck in between the openings of the LRT ...it has happened here in Singapore where a lady's high heeled boots got stuck inbetween an opening just as she was going to board the train....needless to say she broke her ankle...new boots too:))
I'd prefer the comfy sandals anytime!
Macam zaman dulu kat Jepun kot Nour. Kaki kena bendung....
Lima minit mesti kena tukar kasut punya la.....
Aiyoh..How to walk with those shoes??!! Ballerina je boleh kot..
the black one, third from above. reminds me of last year af4 student from sabah. she has gorgeous armpits :-)
Oh God! I shall not be a slave to fashion ;-)
Lil sis.. nnt you tell me which shop in Mangga 2 that sell those comfy shoez.. hehe.
Kalau kasut tu masuk Malaysian market mari kita pulaukan beramai2. They're no good for the vertebra la wey.
i can imagine a bunch of young kids tyring hard to pull up a makcik yang jatuh tergolek dog (imagine myself la ni in those shoes). Sure cursing and swearing orang nak yang tolong tu, dah la makcik ni berat, nak balance atas kasut glamer tu asyik jatuh balik...LOL!
Actually I have seen the Jap girls wearing those platform type of shoes (first 2 pics)but the other 3 tu mcm doesnt make sense at all lah...Your feet almost has to be in a 90 degree position at all times...
Razberries, you won't miss the store, it is on the right side of the main entrance to the Mangga 2 mall, beside Novotel Hotel. It sells leather shoes for both men and women. The leather is very soft, it's got the nice leather smell and most importantly, fits my then very tight budget ;p (nak kirim lah)
Hi Nour,
I like the shoes in the first and second pix..ha ha. Ni betul2 suka, but just like to see lah!
The other shoes tu, well it is a wonder how imaginative and creative people can be (whwn one does not need to considering comfort), just the creative thoughts per se. When I was at architecture school, I had projects to design buildings transceding phosical barriers. We went to town with our imaginations. Fun!
Duh, sorry lah typos. Dan mengantuk so...goodnight dear.
lil sis,
hallo hallo...I agree the japs have a different way of dressing..which somehow can be very unique! As for the shoes, I can imagine pic 1 and 2...but the rest tu macam tak feasible je.
That leather sandals you bought...heheeh memang best..coz I pun beli the exact pair gakkan..And yes you can walk in those shoes for hours..I love them too...:) Jom gi Jakarta lagi?
Gravt,
Oh yes, the first thing that came to my mind, was like macam ballerina pulak..How can u stand in those kind of shoesla huh..very bad for the spine..!
oh Gosh, you wld be surprised to note what some pple wld do for fashion!
Ice,
yeah stilts...just like standing on your toes for hours..Giles! Oh gosh getting yr heels stuck in between the doors is SCARY..kalay kaki putus lagi SCARY. Moarl of the story being in a comfortable state is much BETTER than looking different! :D
DG,
In China dulu2 kaki kena bengkung, coz at that time beauty lies in the woman's feet size. The bigger the feet is, the less laku she is..Terukkan!
I watched once in Majalah 3 (I think) on how small the feet can be with all the bengkungs etc...It doesn't look beautiful to me it looks SCARY!
trueblue,
tula..macam walking on your toes!! Ballerina pun dont do it most of the time.
Azer,
I am confused..What has shoes got to do with a woman's armpit??muaahhaaa.. Oh I remember the kasut with the tali2....u must have found the shoes to be sexy eh :P
Raz,
Wearing comfortable shoes is the BEST policy.
d.n.a.s,

Ruby,
I have always wanted to be an architect...heheh I think I am artistic ( angkat bakul sendiri ni!) Wow..I bet being an architect is fun coz you can always be creative and imaginative :)
